Teaching is a huge part of my nature, I believe we should all pass on our knowledge, helping to enable an individuals potential. I have always coached people in previous careers, and thoroughly enjoy working out how to help an individual based on their specific learning needs. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching, is learning new things from my students who approach ceramics with a degree of blinkered naivety and enthusiasm'.

I have been teaching workshops for 6 years now, from my own space and previously in London at some very popular community studios. The workshops range from beginners introduction courses, one off hand building workshops, corporate team building events and 1-1 throwing tutorials. Former students are often in touch for advice and follow up tutorial, or just to brag about their personal progress.

Here in Cornwall, I run group throwing experiences, 1-1 private lessons and short courses in my Falmouth studio. Classes are light hearted and fun, but are of course focused on learning skills and techniques.
